Why don’t you visit this beautiful bathing beach located in the eastern part of Heigun-to Island? Iya-mishima (three consecutive small islands) next to the beach is one of the three greatest views of this island. People can walk to the tip of the cape at low tide.
There is a ranch nearby and you can see cows grazing peacefully.
Lavatories and showers are available.

This is an artificial bathing beach, 160 meters long, and very popular among people in Yanai. You can enjoy the stunning view of the Oshima Long Bridge and Yashiro Oshima Island. The beach is easily accessible from Route 188.
During the Niwaka Festival from September to October, a famous portable shrine is carried into the sea from this beach.
Lavatories, showers and changing rooms are available.

Hizumi Camp Site is located next to the parking lot of Otarashi-hime Hachimangu Shrine in Hizumi Ozato. People can enjoy camping in a relaxing atmosphere at this quiet camp site surrounded by mountains and forests. Twinkling stars can be clearly seen between the trees. You will be amazed by the beauty of starlight in such a complete dark night with no artificial lighting system around you.
Every August, this Shrine is a main venue of Hizumi Hassaku O-odori, the biggest Bon festival dance of the city.

Why don’t you experience the undersea world of Seto Inland Sea? With a simple light gear on, you are ready to enjoy a totally different world. Even if you have never done it before, it is fun and easy as we provide all the necessary diving gear for our beginner diving course.

This multi-purpose park is located on a hillside and offers a full view of Yanai to visitors.

【Aderie Hoshi Park】
Both adults and children can enjoy outdoor activities all day long as this park has various facilities such as tennis courts, a walking trail, a jogging track, a multi-purpose grass field, and a fun slide. It is also a great training course at night as the park is open and lit up until 10 PM.

【Aqua Hill Yanai】
A heated indoor swimming pool, a hot spring facility and a training gym are available.

Kart enthusiasts come all the way from outside of Yamaguchi Prefecture to enjoy this full-scale kart course, 720m long and 8-10m width. Kart drivers love in particular our 140m-long straight course. Kart rental service is available. We welcome beginners as well as advanced drivers, anyone who loves or is interested in kart racing.

You can enjoy not only some boat fishing but also the beautiful scenery of Southern Seto Inland Sea. Drop a fishing line in a gentle current and you could be delighted by catching some big fish!
The fishing area is near Heigun-to Island, off the coast of Yanai city. It is a famous fishing point for catching sea bream, horse mackerel, yellowtail and so on. We welcome beginners and our boatman is happy to show you how to enjoy fishing.

Yanai Country Club is a flat golf course with 27 holes. Our green can be enjoyed all year long as we do not experience snow even during winter. Amid a beautiful nature, you will be able to fully enjoy our strategic courses with a spacious fairway, hidden bunkers and lakes at several difficult points. It is a truly challenging course and beloved by many golf masters. Enjoy golfing throughout the year thanks to the mild climate of our region as we benefit also from relatively cool temperatures in summer and warm temperatures in winter.
